A studio recording is a specific version

The player presents selected studio demos for listening and review. They may differ from a later release in arrangement, performance, mix or master. When requesting use, identify the title and the exact version rather than assuming that permission for one recording covers every version.

Music for edits and collaboration

Videos using versions explicitly marked Creator-friendly are covered by the general terms on the For creators page, including eligible platforms, ordinary video monetisation and credit requirements. The current 14 demos are not yet in that catalogue: individual permission is available by agreement. Advertising, brand projects and distribution of the music itself are discussed separately. Uses permitted by law remain unaffected.

Permission has a scope

A music-use agreement may specify the recording, platforms, territory, duration, editing allowed and commercial use. Rights in a recording, composition, lyrics, performance and visuals can belong to different parties. The project can grant only the rights it controls; any additional clearance needed for a particular use must also be addressed.

Credits and source material

Credits for an official release will describe the actual contributions relevant to that version. The project uses a combination of creative direction, production, editing and supporting tools. Website artwork includes imagery generated for the project with an AI image tool. The Onest font is used under the SIL Open Font License. These materials should not be treated as a single collection of public-domain or copyright-free assets.

Listening controls are not a licence

The player is designed for listening and does not offer a download licence. A streamed recording still has to reach your browser, so no player setting can guarantee that copying is technically impossible. The permission rules remain the same whether or not a file can be retrieved. Sharing a link to the original page is welcome.

Questions or corrections

For permission, a credit correction or a concern about material on the site, contact the project with the relevant page, recording and an explanation. Nothing on this page removes uses allowed by law or makes a blanket promise that a recording will never receive a platform copyright claim.
